Savitri aka Nicole, Founder of Frequency Awareness, Certified Biofeedback Specialist (CBS) Reiki Level 2 practitioner and a Shamballa 13 Dimensional Master Healer. Savitri is her spiritual name which means The Sun God. Savitri received her name from Babaji in 2010 and she is the embodiment of The Way to bringing light into the world and accepting the dark aspects of the human self and transcend these aspects into light. She has a strong connection to nature.
Savitri was born and raised in Rhode Island and was a very active child. She loved animals, talking, eating and was multi-tasking very early on as you can see from the picture above! Prior to creating Frequency Awareness, Savitri was a Human Resource professional for 15+ years. She had the pleasure of experiencing varied work environments such as manufacturing, health care, financial and conflict resolution. She noticed a common denominator in all the very different work environments, people for the most part, were not happy with their life. They were stressed and spent most of their days complaining and wishing that their lives would be different. She observed that this misery led to varied types of illnesses that lead to long Leave of Absences. Savitri coached Vice Presidents, Managers, Supervisors and employees on how to cope with their environment and situations and she noticed a consistent pattern that the issues would resurface with subtle differences and the process would start all over. Savitri began to think to herself there had to be a better way, a more gentle and balanced way of life could lead to greater happiness and production in both the personal and the business aspect of people's lives. Before this shift would take place, Savitri experienced her own distress and dis-ease. At the age of 28 Savitri who was already overweight at approximately 220 pounds and stressed experienced the sudden death of her mother. Her father at the time was completing Chemotherapy for he was labeled with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 4 and was scheduled for radiation. Her mother passed on in the backyard of her parents house on their 34th Wedding Anniversary. Savitri's father came home from buying an anniversary card as they were set to go out to dinner that evening and found his wife in the yard. When he found her her tongue was grey and it brought back memories of Vietnam when her father would take the wounded or dead off the helicopters. Shortly after Savitri and her husband moved in with her father after the funeral, Savitri experienced paralysis due to sciatica and extreme low back pain. Later she would realize this event was all due to energy being stored in the body and held in the muscles and nerves as she did not deal with the loss of her mother, the sickness of her father, helping her father learn how to budget and take care of himself, the loss of her job, and the stress of living in the same house as a married woman with her father and trying to deal with the testostrone wars in a small ranch house! Savitri took on the role of her mother almost immediately after the funeral. She knew nothing of cancer treatments, proper diet for cancer patients. She was a master with health insurance and bills and there was plenty to deal with! She accompanied her father to the hospital for his weekly chemo treatments and at first was shocked at the varying level of sick people and how they were responding to the poison being pumped into their systems. In a very short time, Savitri learned about the cancer her father had and tried in vain to get her father to eat better. He would regularly go out for fried food after treatment, after all it was Friday and on Friday we have fisherman's platter! About a year later, Savitri's father went into remission and she and her husband bought a house. Savitri's father had learned to budget and learned how to cook and really stepped up to claim control over his life. The day Savitri and her husband closed and moved into the new house, she received a call from her father informing her that he was out of remission and would be starting Chemo again. Savitri's grandmother was at their house at the time of the call and she said her face went white when her father told her the news. Savitri panicked as she could not move back into the house and was emotionally torn as to what to do. A huge amount of guilt loomed over the years. She was once again full time employed and was not yet eligible for FMLA. A year later after this event, Savitri's grandmother experienced an anurism repair surgery and she had to be revived four times on the operating table. By the time Savitri saw her grandmother in ICU, she was unrecognizable almost as bad as her mother at the funeral home. This was extremely traumatic for Savitri and again she did not allow herself to deal with what was going on. She went back to problem solving mode which she was a master at :). She ensured that the doctor's were on top of her grandmother's case and that her grandmother was getting the best care possible. Her grandmother recovered and told Savitri that she was not leaving yet. Secretly Savitri was glad as she was not ready or capable of dealing with another death and caring for her father. She lived day to day just waiting for the other shoe to drop. She jumped when the phone rang, she denied her thoughts when she saw her father getting thinner and thinner. Drinking and large amounts of food were of great comfort and distraction. Work was demanding with recruitment deadlines and trainings and new hire orientations. The emotions eventually caught up with her however and eposodes of screaming and hysterical crying would frequently take place when she was at home. Eventually panic attacks would manifest with vomitting, facial, neck and arm numbing, hives and extreme cold and hotness. This went on for a couple of years. Savitri's father passed on four years later. There were a large number of traumatic events that took place during the process of his passing on and she carried a huge amount of guilt and shame. She learned from her mothers passing and this time no one rushed the processs on the day of the funeral. After the funeral, Savitri was in problem solving mode, clear out her parents house, sell her parents house and move everything from their little ranch into the raised ranch her and her husband were living in. By this point this was comfortable and it really was uncomfortable to be quiet and still. In fact, when she was in a space of stillness either a drink was sought or food or both. Savitri and her husband began to shift in consciousness and exposed themselves to new knowledge in late 2004 after her father's passing, when they received Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2 trainings. Both of them were very analytical (left brained) and had never been exposed to metaphysical concepts. Savitri had no idea what Chakras were but loved the energy she was experiencing with the Reiki initiations and she and her husband knew they were on to something! They began their quest for knowledge and read and trained in many areas of energetic medicine, mind/body connection, stress and wellness, Feng Shui, and the crystal and mineral kingdom to name a few. In 2005, Savitri began an in depth education in the energetic anatomy, quantum physics and really understood that everything is frequency.. With this empowering wisdom her life changed in dramatic ways, she decided to leave the corporate world, received specific trainings and certifications and started Frequency Awareness with the intent of helping people take back their personal power, reduce stress, become their full potential self and begin enjoying a fulfilling joyful, balanced life. In 2006 Savitri and her husband received their first initiation into Babaji's Kriya Yoga in Canada and took levels two and three in the respective years that followed. Life style choices began to shift, drinking alcohol had stopped completely back in 2005, red meat, sugar and caffeine were out of the diet by 2007. Breath awareness and quiet meditation were both improving and deepening. The desire for distraction was still present and taking different forms however the awareness of what was happening was present. In the fall of 2006 Savitri's grandmother passed on and by this point in her growth, the event was not traumatic, the process was not done quickly or in problem solving mode. There was peace this time and although she strongly desired the remodeling of the funeral home as it was decorated in flavor of the 60's with red and gold wall paper, red rugs, and red drapery all was well. The day after her grandmother's passing Frequency Awareness was started and Savitri fully embraced her path and continued and still continues to grow, evolve and share that with humanity. In 2010 Savitri reduced to a weight of 160 the first time in fifteen years where she was under 200 pounds. The services and trainings found in this website work, Savitri is living proof of their transcendental power and she is joyous in sharing this with you. To your success and personal empowerment Savitri
